We, the student council and the faculty, would like to extend a warm welcome to you at our university and provide you with the most important information you’ll need to get off to a successful start in your studies. 🙌

08.04. (Wednesday) 10:00 Introduction to Selma and OPAL with the Examination Office In this Hands-On Introduction, you will learn about your documents- and examination-platform, which are crucial during your studies. E023 - ‼️ Please bring your laptops ‼️
 

Checklist

Until 07.04.2026

  • successfully move in
  • collect you campus card
  • find all the rooms for the MESE (Master Introduction Week - German: “Erstsemester-Einführungs”)

At the beginning of your semester

  • Enroll in all the modules in selma
  • Enroll in all the opal courses for all the lectures
  • Aktivate autoload for mensa on campus card

FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

Do I have to register for courses and lectures before the semester starts, or can I do it during the first week?
In general you could do that also during the first weeks.
