Basic Statutes of the Universities Student Body
The Basic Statutes of the Student Body at TU Dresden (“Grundordnung der Studentenschaft”) regulate the fundamental structures and tasks of student self-administration. They form the legal basis of all subject-specific student body statutes and define in particular how the university wide Student Council (StuRa) and the subject-specific student bodies (e.g. computer science) are organized, which committees exist, and how decision-making processes work.
Statutes of the Student Body Computer Science
The student council computer science adopted the statutes of the student body computer science (“Fachschaftsordnung”) in its meeting on 22.01.2019, in accordance with § 10 of the Basic Statutes of the universities student body, with a two-thirds majority of its members. They came into force following their approval by the university wide Student Councils Executive Committee on 28.01.2019.
The Statutes of the Student Body primarily regulate the organs of the student body computer science (“Fachschaft Informatik”) as well as the composition, meetings, and resolutions of the student council computer science (“Fachschaftsrat Informatik”).
